North Penn Marching Knight Friends and Families,

The North Penn Visual Ensemble has had a fantastic season and it has flown by so quickly.  The guard had the good fortune to have made it to the semi-finals round at WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio which is an incredible achievement.  There were 137 of the best colorguards in the United States competing in our class alone with only 48 advancing on to semi-finals and our girls were one of them.  This is the first time the Visual Ensemble has attended WGI Championships in over 5 years and its best showing in almost 10 years!  We are very proud of the hard work that they have put into our season.  It is time to move forward into the next season of the Marching Knights.

With this in mind we are asking for your help as we prepare for our next season.  The colorguard would like to purchase 8 new “Spanish Blade” sabres to be used for both its outdoor program and indoor program.  To continue to be competitive this is a necessary step for us to take.   Our current sabres are starter sabres specifically made for beginning colorguards. 

The sabres we are looking to purchase will last for years to come with a guarantee attached to every sabre.   These sabres though come with a hefty price tag of $200 each and this is where your help is necessary.  If you wish to assist in this endeavor with even the smallest of contributions we would be greatly appreciative! 

If you are interested in supporting us with a contribution please send a check to the North Penn Music Aides or NPMA.  Please include the tear-off at the bottom so those funds can be used for that specific purpose or simply put “Sabre” in your memo.  Thank you in advance and we look forward to you seeing our new sabres in action at the Knight of Sound on September 13th!
