Rehearsal Attendance

Attendance is mandatory for all rehearsals.  Students should be ready to perform at the rehearsal start time.  For most students this means arriving 15 minutes early to allow setup and walking to the practice field etc. This was part of the NPMK contract you signed at the beginning of the season.

Written notes, signed by parents/guardians, listing the reason and the date of absences from rehearsal OR early dismissal from rehearsal must be turned in to the Director (preferably in advance).

UNIFORM ETIQUETTE

Please remember to bring blankets to sit on during football games/competitions.  Besides adding comfort and warmth to your evening, they protect your uniform from fabric pulls and tears caused by rough bleacher surfaces!
 
MARCHING KNIGHTS RAIN UNIFORM FOR FOOTBALL GAMES:
               Blue Jeans - not shorts
               White Marching Knights T-shirt
               Marching Knight or equivalent blue jacket (not uniform jacket)
               Sneakers (white)

Keeping You Informed

Molly Sander is primary communications officer for the NPMK.  

"NPMA Announcement" E-mail

Molly sends a weekly e-mail entitled "NPMA Announcements".   These will be sent to you from account NPMarchingKnights@gmail.com  which you can also use to ask Molly for information or request an addition to the next announcement.  All Parents and Band Member's should already be on this distribution list.  If you want to be added or removed,  use the link below or send Molly an e-mail.

NPMK Calendar

There is a public performance calendar that can be found in the "2008 Season" section and there is a NPMK Calendar at left which we will work to keep as up-to-date as possible.  Please send corrections to Don Hamp or Eric Hunt or... Becky Hunt or Molly.

NPMA Monthly Meeting

Eric and Becky Hunt lead meetings covering almost everything related to NPMK.   A great place to meet other parents and see how you can help as well.

Weekly Hospitality Knight

Every Thursday  ~ 8PM.  Coffee and doughnuts are served by the Tennis Courts/Practice fields.  Sign up tables for buses and various fundraisers.   Again a great place to get the latest gossip news.
