GL Script Update: New Retailers and new Walgreen Benefits
Auto Zone Now Available
Great Lakes Scrip Center is pleased to announce the addition of
Auto Zone to their retailer list. Auto Zone gift cards are now
available in $25 denominations with a special introductory contribution
of 7%. This introductory bonus contribution will be available only
until September 5, when the normal 5% contribution will be effective.
Lands' End Back To School Bonus Offer
Lands' End and Great Lakes Scrip are pleased to offer a 2% back to
school bonus contribution from Saturday, August 16, through Friday,
September 12. That means Lands' End gift cards will have a 19%
contribution instead of the normal 17% contribution during that time
period only.
Mrs. Field's 50% Off Clearance Sale
Great Lakes Scrip Center has recently learned that Mrs Field's Cookie
Company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The timing of
Mrs. Field's announcement comes when GLSC has plenty of Mrs. Fields on
hand. GLSC would like to reduce their inventory of Mrs. Field's
Cookies, and are offering this inventory on a 50% bonus clearance sale.
GLSC offers Mrs. Field's certificates in $5 denominations. If you have
Mrs. Field's locations near you, this is an excellent opportunity to
earn a significant bonus as long as you can use the certificates in the
near future. This special bonus pricing is only available while
supplies last and Mrs. Field's gift certificates sold with this
clearance pricing are not returnable.
Walgreens Contribution Increase
Earlier this year, Walgreens announced a special 4% bonus on
Walgreens gift cards. This bonus offer gave GLSC customers a special 6%
benefit instead of the normal 2% Walgreens non-profit benefit. This
bonus offer was originally scheduled to expire on August 29, 2008.
However, Walgreens and GLSC are pleased to announce the 6% bonus
contribution will now be the standard Walgreens contribution until
further notice.
The Walgreens gift card is available in $25 and $100 denominations and
is redeemable for merchandise and prescriptions at all Walgreens
Drugstore, Rxpress, and Walgreens Pharmacy locations in the US and
Puerto Rico.

Barnes & Noble
Offers 1% Bonus from Saturday, August 30, through Friday, September 26.
That means Barnes & Noble gift cards will have a 10% contribution
instead of the normal 9% contribution during that time period only.
JCPenney
1% Bonus Offer from Saturday, August 30, through Friday, September 26.
That means JCPenney gift cards will have a 6% contribution instead of
the normal 5% contribution during that time period only.

New Applebee's $50
Denomination
Great Lakes Scrip Center now offers Applebee's gift cards in a new $50
denomination, in addition to the already available $25 denonination. The
non-profit contribution is unchanged at 8%.
Eddie Bauer Bonus
Offer
Eddie Bauer and Great Lakes Scrip are pleased to offer a 6% bonus
contribution from Saturday, September 20 through December 31,
2008. That means Eddie Bauer gift cards will have a 15% contribution
instead of the normal 9% contribution during that time period only.
Red Robin
Denomination Change
Red Robin has changed to a $25 denomination effective immediately. A
limited number of the old $10 denominations are still available while
supplies last. The non-profit contribution is unchanged at 9%.
Ticketmaster No
Longer Available
Ticketmaster gift cards are sold out and are no longer available.
Apple iPhone Now
Available At Best Buy
GLSC customers will be interested to know Best Buy began selling the
iPhone on Sept. 7, becoming first U.S. chain to do so outside of Apple
Inc.'s and AT&T Inc.'s own stores. The announcement by Best Buy expands
the availability of Apple's iPhone to 970 full-size stores and 16
smaller Best Buy Mobile stores. Best Buy also resells Apple's Mac
computers and iPod media players. Customers can purchase the iPhone 3G
and set up an AT&T account. The process will take about 45 minutes, so
Best Buy® is offering scheduled, 1-hour appointment times for
consultation and the purchase and setup of your new iPhone. Here's how
the process works:
Customers in line will receive iPhone appointment tickets from a Mobile
Phone Specialist shortly before the store opens. A ticket reserves an
iPhone 3G for you, whether you choose to wait in store or to schedule a
day and time to return to this Best Buy for your iPhone 3G purchase and
setup. Upon returning to Best Buy, customers who have chosen a specific
date and time should visit the iPhone concierge at the front of the
store to check in and begin their appointment. Appointments will cover
everything from purchase to AT&T account setup. Geek Squad® Agents will
be available to assist customers requesting e-mail setup or to answer
questions.
